Year Advisers

Year Advisers are an integral part of the school’s welfare system and are all members of the Learning Support Team. Their specific responsibilities vary depending on their year group but generally they are involved in:

• Pastoral care
• Liaising with parents.
• Providing support for students at risk/in need.
• Communicating relevant information to staff.
• Monitoring progress/ behaviour.
• Promoting and recognising student achievements.
• Merit Assemblies.
• Assist with truancy monitoring for year groups.
